Birla Corporation Limited would be investing around Rs 2400 crore for its proposed new cement plant at Mukutbandh near Nagpur.
Harsh V Lodha, chairman of Birla Corporation has said that “We are planning to invest around Rs 2400 crore for four mtpa geenfield cement plant at Mukutbandhan. We will now go to the board for approval.”
He further said that after the completion of the new plant, the total cement production capacity of the company would touch 20 mtpa from the present 15.5 mtpa after acquisition of Reliance Cement.
