Carlyle Group, the global private equity firm, has acquired 37% stake in Metropolis Healthcare.
Carlyle Group said in a statement that Carlyle Asia Partners affiliate IV has bought a stake in Metropolis Healthcare Ltd, a multinational chain of pathology laboratories.
While, the transaction details have not been disclosed by the Cralyle Group, including the acquired stake in Metropolis.
Carlyle Asia Buyout Team Managing Director Neeraj Bharadwaj,Commenting on the development said, “We are delighted to partner with Metropolis and back its promoter as well as its management team, and will leverage our healthcare industry expertise to support the company’s growth plans.”
