An interim dividend of Rs 2,758.45 crore has been declared by the Coal India Limited‘s arm Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd for 2015-16.

Coal India Limited has said that its another arm Central Coalfields Ltd has declared an interim dividend amounting to Rs 1,457 crore for the 9 month period ended December.

CIL said in a BSE filing that “Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd (MCL)- a subsidiary company of Coal India Ltd has declared an Interim dividend of Rs 14,798.48 per share of face value of Rs 1000 each on 18,64,009 equity shares, amounting to Rs 2,758.45 crores on Feb 4, 2016 for the year 2015-16.”
