India had repatriated nearly about 18,000 travellers of UK on 66 charter flights from 11 cities of India during the April-June period.
Tariang said, “We also had to movement permissions during a nationwide lockdown – the main challenge was to organise transport from remote places like Meghalaya and Manipur for a journey spanning 32 hours.”
A new portrait of Queen Elizabeth is painted by artist Miriam Escofet that time and the artwork will be displayed in the refurbished reception of the new Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. The Queen has praised FCO staff members who have worked in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic and spoke to them on their repatriation effort and also heard that the UK Government is working internationally to develop a vaccine.
