Creador, which is a Malaysian private equity firm, has acquired a minority stake in Paras Healthcare through affiliate Commelina for Rs 275 crore.
Approximately 22% stake has been picked up by Creador in Paras.
Paras, Managing Director, Dharminder Nagar has said that the group intends to use the funds raised in expanding its presence to Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan and is evaluating five projects.
