DGV Raises $3.1 Million From Info Edge Ventures & Omnivore

Digivriddhi Technologies (DGV) has raised $3.1 million from Info Edge Ventures and Omnivore as its first institutional funding. The funds will be utilised to increase the company’s network to 500 by the end of the current fiscal, according to a statement. “The funds will be used to add neo banking products to the needs of dairy farmers. We will be using a large part of the capital raised in hiring sales, product and engineering talent,” said Ragavan Venkatesan, founder and CEO of Digivriddhi Technologies.

DGV focuses on dairy farmers giving them access to formal banking and financial services. It is currently working with some of India’s leading organisations by providing them with a way to payments, liabilities, and asset products by its partnership with Federal Bank. Venkatesan said that “Info Edge Ventures’ expertise in scaling digital marketplaces, and Omnivore’s deep experience in agritech will permit us to build an unmatched full-service platform for Dairy farmers.”
