Shares of Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd were trading in the green and 2% higher on Friday after the company secured a Rs 76.06 crore order for supplying Extra High Voltage (EHV) underground power cables for a transmission project in Gujarat. 

The company received a Letter of Acceptance on September 3 from a domestic private-sector EPC contractor involved in power transmission projects. The order covers around 293 km of 66 kV EHV underground cables, strengthening Diamond Power’s presence in the high-voltage cable segment.

Under the contract, Diamond Power will supply 38/66 kV, single-core cables with a 630 sq. mm aluminium conductor. The cables will be XLPE insulated and include copper wire screening, aluminium corrugated sheathing and an HDPE outer sheath. 

Deliveries are expected to begin after manufacturing clearance at a scheduled rate of around 50 km per month. The latest win adds to a growing order pipeline for Diamond Power. 

The company has recently secured orders across power transmission, data centres and other infrastructure segments. It had also received a Rs 185.16 crore order from Adani Energy Solutions in July for supplying around 4,820 km of high-performance aluminium alloy conductors.

The company’s recent financial performance has also improved. Diamond Power reported Rs 690 crore in revenue in Q1 FY27, more than double the year-ago figure, while net profit rose 191% year-on-year to Rs 58.5 crore. Its FY26 annual report showed revenue growth of 71% to Rs 1,910 crore, with the order book standing above Rs 3,600 crore.

As of 9:38 AM on September 4, Diamond Power shares were trading at around Rs 327.50. The stock has a 52-week range of Rs 115.57 to Rs 379.
