In September the sale of domestic cars increased to 1,69,590 units at 9.48 percent compared to 1,54,898 units of the same month a year ago.
According to the released data of Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), the sales of motorcycle declined 2.87 percent to 10,20,237 units a year ago.
Moreover the two-wheeler sales in September declined 1.06 percent to 15,37,137 units against 15,53,608 units of the same month last year.
