The Electronic Entertainment Expo 2022 (E3 2022) is going to be an online event just like it was like last year. The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) has declared that E3 2022 will also follow the same format.

The ESA said that the rise in the number of Covid-19 cases globally is the reason behind the move. The update from ESA comes after a sudden increase in Covid cases in Europe and the US, which led to many other in-person events going online-only, delayed or getting cancelled.
