Eicher Trucks and Buses which is a part of VE Commercial Vehicles, has lowered the prices by up to 5 percent for the purpose of passing on the GST benefit to customers.
The company has been offering price reductions from 1.5 percent to 5 percent on its range of trucks and buses. The price cut varies model wise and state wise.
VE Commercial Vehicles Managing Director and CEO Vinod Aggarwal has said in a statement that “The immediate impact (of GST) is some reduction in taxes on an average basis and we have passed on the expected benefits from the new tax regime to the customers.”
