First Solar which is a solar PV solutions provider has commenced commercial operations of 80 MW and 50 MW projects in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, respectively.
According to a statement issued ” First Solar Power India has commenced commercial operations of 80 MW and 50 MW capacities in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, respectively.Theses projects are part of its 260 MW project portfolio.”
Sujoy Ghosh, First Solar’s Country Head for India has said that “After achieving a recent milestone of 1,000 MW PV solar capacity footprint in India, we have added 130 MW of utility scale solar power to the grid, growing our portfolio of operational solar assets to a cumulative capacity of 150 MW .”
