Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) Budget for 2022-23 in Parliament as the two Houses are set to restart their regular sittings for the second part of the Budget Session. “The FM will present a statement of calculated receipts and expenditure of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for the year 2022-23,” an official statement said.

The two Houses will continue with most of the positions’ restrictions, following the Covid-19 rules, which were also witnessed in the earlier parts of the Parliament sessions. The second half of the Budget session will finish on the 8th of April. The first half of the Budget session started on January 31 and ended on February 11.
