Frank Schloeder has been appointed by the German luxury carmaker BMW as acting President of its Indian operations with effect from May 1.
At present Schloeder is a Director Marketing at BMW India and would replace Philipp von Sahr, who will now be the head BMW Niederlassung in Berlin, Germany.
BMW India has said in a statement that During the tenure of von Sahr as President, BMW Group India successfully stood ground in a fiercely competitive environment and maintained its momentum in the Indian luxury car market.
