Gamesa India, the wind turbine manufacturer has received a contract from ReNew Power to supply 20 custom-made G97 turbines of 2 MW each for a project in Karnataka.
The company has said in a statement that “Gamesa India has entered into an agreement with ReNew Power for a 40 MW turnkey order consisting of 20 units of former’s custom-made G97-2 MW class S with tower height of 104 m that will be commissioned in Ron district in Karnataka.”
Gamesa, as per the contract will be developing the entire infrastructure needed for operating the project that includes supply, erection and commissioning of 20 units of wind turbine that are the custom designed for tapping low wind sites in the country.
