Gensol Engineering Bags Orders Worth Rs 153 Crore to Build 58.8 MW Solar Projects

Gensol Engineering secured orders worth Rs 153.16 crore to build solar projects with a total capacity of 58.8 MW in August.


The company said in a regulatory filing that it had received purchase orders from customers to develop solar projects in Jammu and Kashmir, Gujarat, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Telangana, with a total capacity of about 58.8 MW.


The company said the cumulative order value for these projects is Rs 153.16 crore. It said that of the seven deals completed by Gensol, five were based on a full turnkey EPC (Engineering Procurement Build) model, while two were Balance of Systems (BoS) projects.


Likewise, four projects will be built on land, and another three projects will be built on the roof of the client’s factory. Founded in 2012, Gensol Engineering is part of the Gensol group of companies that provide EPC and solar consultancy services.
