Shares of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd were trading in the green and 1% on 27 February after the company’s US subsidiary announced that it will launch sodium phosphates injection USP in single-dose vials containing 15 mM P/5 mL, 45 mM p/15 mL, and 150 mM P/5 mL.

The manufacturer stated that the single-dose vial is bioequivalent and therapeutically equivalent to the injection’s reference listed medication, 45 mM p/15 ml of Hospira Inc.

According to the business, the 14 mM P/5 ml and 150 mM P/50 ml presentations are predicted to have the same therapeutic effect as the listed drug product on which the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) relied for safety and effectiveness. Glenmark will begin delivery in April 2026.

According to IQVIA sales statistics for the 12-month period ending December 2025, the single-dose vial injection market generated around $66.8 million in revenue.

Earlier this month, Anurag Mantra, the company’s executive director and global chief financial officer, said that the pharmaceutical giant expects its core business margins to increase by 100 to 150 basis points in fiscal year 2-27, settling at approximately 23%.

He also stated that the company is on target to be debt-free by March and that the pharmaceutical company already has a highly positive net cash position.

At 2:20 pm, the shares of Glenmark Pharma were trading 1.12% higher at Rs 2,148.20 on NSE.
