Produced by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the world’s largest technology event will run until 9th January. It will bring together global tech companies, startups, industry leaders, policymakers, and investors to present next-generation solutions to real-world challenges.

CES Vice President and Show Director John Kelley said the event is where innovation is tested, debated, and advanced. This helps ideas move from concept to impact. CTA Executive Chair and CEO Gary Shapiro described CES as a platform where ideas become reality.

This year’s edition will highlight how artificial intelligence is transforming nearly every industry. CTA President Kinsey Fabrizio said companies are increasingly focused on demonstrating practical applications of technology rather than just showcasing products.

Global brands such as AMD, BMW, John Deere, Lenovo, LG, Qualcomm, and Samsung will present innovations. Startups from across the world will also participate. These innovations will span AI, robotics, digital health, mobility, energy, enterprise technology, and immersive entertainment.

Addressing trade and geopolitical concerns, Shapiro said tariffs hurt global trade. Still, CTA’s industry forecast projects the consumer technology sector will reach $565 billion in revenue in 2026. This underscores the industry’s resilience amid economic uncertainty.

With strong participation from Europe, Asia, and other regions, CTA highlighted the international character of CES 2026. They emphasized the importance of global collaboration in driving innovation.
