The central government has infused Rs.388.94 crore in Indian Overseas Bank (IOB).
The bank has received Rs.388.94 crore towards contribution of the central Government in the preferential allotment of equity shares of the bank during the Financial Year 2017-18, as Government’s investment. Moreover, in December last year, the central government has made a infusion of Rs.7,577 crore in various weak public sector banks.
