Government has approved PSU banks recapitalization program of Rs.2,11,000  crore.

Out of this, Rs.1,35,000 crore will come from recapitalization bonds, while the rest Rs.76,000 crore will come from the market raising and budgetary support.

Compulsory TReDs registration for major PSU’s within 90 days. The nature of Recapitalization of bonds to be decided in due course.
