On July 27, the government will be divesting 5 percent of its stake in Power Finance Corporation.
Currently, the government holds 72.80 percent equity in Power Finance Corporation. And after the sales of 6.60 crore shares that represents 5% stake on offer, the holdings will be reduced to 67.80 percent.
According to a BSE filing, “Power Finance Corporation Ltd has submitted to BSE a copy of Notice of Offer for Sale up to 6,60,02,035 equity shares of the face value of Rs 10 each representing 5 percent of the total paid up equity share capital by Promoter through a sale on the separate window provided by BSE and NSE Ltd”.
