Shares of HCL Technologies Ltd were trading in the green and 1% higher on 24 September after the company announced that they have renewed its long-standing digital transformation agreement with one of the world’s leading manufacturers of trucks, buses, construction equipment, marine and industrial engines, and comprehensive transport solutions, headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden.  

The extended multi-year contract includes an expanded scope of services. Under the terms of the deal, HCLTech will improve and update the Gothenburg-based manufacturer’s IT infrastructure, as well as change its digital foundation services.

HCLTech stated that it will use its own GenAI-led service transformation platform, AI Force, to provide platform-based managed services, hyper automation, and full-stack observability.

The AI-powered solutions will enable one-click supply of IT services, hence improving operational efficiency and the employee and customer experience. HCLTech’s solutions will help the customer achieve its sustainability goals by promoting responsible and efficient IT practices.
