The second largest private sector lender by assets, HDFC Bank has posted an increase in net profit to Rs 3,356.8 crore for the third quarter of the current fiscal.

During same quarter of the last fiscal, the bank had posted a net profit of Rs 2,791 crore.

Bank’s total income increased to Rs 18,282 crore during the December quarter from Rs 14,931 crore of a year ago period.
