HDFC Bank has introduced a SmartUp Zone, which is an exclusive area inside the branch devoted for startups, in Hyderabad.
As per the bank, in the first phase it had started the SmartUp zone in Gachibowli branch in the city, which served to all the startups in the Telangana.
Further it stated, “Nationally, SmartUp Zones will be launched in over 65 branches in 30 cities across India, including tier 2 and 3 cities that are emerging as start-up hubs.”
SmartUp zone is shaped in such a way that, it will meet all the requirements of a startup and will offer banking and payment solutions, including advisory and Forex services.
