HDFC has announced 15% year on year (YoY) increase in net profit to Rs.2,101.12 crore for the Q2.
Last year in the same quarter it had reported a profit of Rs.1,826.50 crore.
Gross NPA in Q2 rose 5.4% to Rs.3,701 crore, compared with Rs.3,513 crore in previous quarter.
Profit on sale of investments for the quarter stood at Rs 65.44 crore against Rs 28.10 crore in corresponding quarter last fiscal.
Net interest income, the difference between interest earned and interest expended, grew by 13.7% YoY to Rs 2,612 crore in Q2 of FY18.
