Hero MotoCorp shares gained during the early trading hour on 4 September after the company’s sales number for August improved.

The total sales increased by 5.6% YoY at 4,88,717 units during the month of August against the 4,62,608 units sold in the same month last year. The sales number for motorcycles stands at 4,52,186 units, whereas for scooters, the number stands at 36,531 units for the same.

On the domestic front, the company saw a 5% YoY increase to 4,72,947 units; however, the company saw a 32.8% YoY increase in exports to 15,770 units.

In August, Hero MotoCorp unveiled its newly designed Karizma XMR at a price of Rs 1,72,900, with attractive features like the revolutionary i3S technology, a new fully digital console, a real-time mileage indicator, a mobile charging port, and a new glamorous design.

The shares touched a 52-week high of Rs 3,242.85 on 1 August 2023 and a 52-week low of Rs 2,246.75 on 28 March 2023.

At 4:00 p.m., the shares of Hero MotoCorp closed at Rs 2,949.90 or 0.77% above its previous close on NSE.
