HFCL, the telecom equipment firm has announced the acquisition of majority stake in Polixel Security which is a surveillance firm with additional investment of Rs 11 crore.
HFCL has said in a regulatory filing that “The company has acquired 1,60,000 equity shares of Polixel Security Systems Private Limited (Polixel), thereby the total equity holding of the company in Polixel has reached up to 94 percent and accordingly Polixel has become the subsidiary of the company with effect from August 9, 2016.”
