Highway Infrastructure shares touched a day high of Rs 74.80, up 4%, after the company won a Rs 198.31 crore civil contract from CPWD.
Highway Infrastructure Limited told exchanges on 4 November that it has received a letter of acceptance from the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) for a civil construction project worth Rs 198.31 crore in Madhya Pradesh.
The firm calls it its biggest civil order yet. The job is to build residential and non-residential buildings for the 12th Reserve Battalion of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) at Jamunia Talab village in Sehore district.
Highway Infrastructure has two years to finish the work. The contract runs on the EPC format.
In simple terms, one company looks after the design, the materials and the building work.
With the win, the company’s order book stood at Rs 1,776.19 crore as of 31 October 2026.
Based in Indore, the firm was incorporated in 2006 and works in toll collection, EPC and real estate across 11 states and one Union Territory.
Whole-Time Director and CFO Anoop Agrawal said the order will help it widen its presence in civil construction and build experience on large government projects. Smaller toll jobs came before it.
In October, it signed a Rs 24.46 crore toll operations contract for the Velanchettiyur Fee Plaza in Tamil Nadu.
In August, it received a Rs 80.17 crore toll collection order for the Palayam Fee Plaza in the same state.
