Merrill Lynch has bought shares of ICICI Bank, worth Rs.823.40 via an open market transaction.

As per the block deal data with BSE, Merrill Lynch Markets Singapore Pte Ltd acquired 2.94 crore shares, representing 0.46% stake in the bank. The shares were bought at an average share price of Rs.280, valuing the transaction at Rs.823.40 crore.

Furthermore, the shares were sold by Baillie Gifford Emerging Markets Fund.
