The Singapore based firm, with describing India as a growth platform in power sector, says that it will be enhancing its presence in the country to tap the ever-growing power market.

In India, Sembcorp Industries’ big push is 2,640-megawatt Sembcorp Gayatri Power Complex in Andhra Pradesh that opened earlier in this year.

Tang Kin Fei, Sembcorp Industries CEO has said that “India is short of power. We were able to deliver the plants on time.”
