The second largest IT services firm of country Infosys has invested an undisclosed amount in the US-based Trifacta.
Trifacta provides data wrangling software that enables non-technical users to easily transform data for analysis.
Infosys has said in a statement that as part of this investment, Trifacta will be providing a data wrangling solution for the Infosys Information Platform (IIP) and Infosys’ other platforms and offerings.
Ritika Suri, the Senior Vice President Corporate Development of Infosys has said that “We see tremendous potential in self-service data preparation solutions like Trifacta to significantly help clients unlock the business value of their diverse and fast-growing Big Data assets.”
