Infosys to Get 50,000 Employees Trained by NVIDIA on AI Technology

50,000 employees of the company will be trained and certified on NVIDIA’s AI technologies.

IT major Infosys collaborated with NVIDIA to set up an NVIDIA centre of excellence where 50,000 employees of the company will be trained and certified on NVIDIA’s AI technologies to help the company drive productivity gains with the help of generative AI applications and solutions.

NVIDIA’s AI Enterprise ecosystem of models, tools, runtimes, and GPU systems will be brought to Infosys’s AI-first offering, Topaz, as part of this alliance.

The IT said in its statement that through this integration, the company will create offerings which customers can adopt and easily integrate generative AI into their businesses.

The company uses a full-stack NVIDIA generative AI platform that includes enterprise-grade software and hardware across its business operations and helps customers create generative AI applications.

Nandan Nilekani, Infosys Chairman and co-founder, said that the company is transforming into an AI-first company to help better provide AI-based services. The company’s clients are looking for complex AI use that can drive significant business value for its customers across their entire value chain.

He added, “Topaz offerings and solutions are complementary to NVIDIA’s core stack. By combining our strengths and training 50,000 of our workforce on NVIDIA AI technology, we are creating end-to-end industry-leading AI solutions that will help enterprises on their journey to become AI-first.”

NVIDIA’s CEO, Jensen Huang, said that the wave of generative AI will drive productivity gains in enterprises.

He added, “The NVIDIA AI Enterprise ecosystem is ramping quickly to provide the platform for generative AI. Together, NVIDIA and Infosys will create an expert workforce to help businesses use this platform to build custom applications and solutions.”
