Inox Green Bags Order to Restore 33 Wind Turbine Generators; Shares Fall 5%

The order is for the supply of materials/spares and other activities for the restoration of 33 WTGs.

Shares of Inox Green Energy Services Ltd (IGESL) were trading in the red and 5% lower despite the company’s subsidiary securing an order from NLC India to restore 33 wind turbine generators.

In its regulatory filing, the company said that its subsidiary I-Fox Windtechnik India Private Limited has received an order from NLC India Ltd for the restoration of 33 wind turbine generators of its wind power plant located in Tenkasi District in the state of Tamil Nadu.

The order is for the supply of materials/spares and other activities for the restoration of 33 wind turbine generators, each of 1.5 megawatts. The company has to execute the contract within a period of 8 months for a total revenue realisation of Rs 39.5 crore.

Mr. SK Mathu Sudhana, CEO of IGESL, said, “This order demonstrates the faith which our clients have shown in our diversified service offerings and is a testament to the capabilities which we have built over the years. This is another important landmark in the growth journey of IGESL as well as of our subsidiary I-Fox Wind, and we are progressing well on our targets on all fronts.”

At 3:30 pm, the shares of Inox Green closed 4.62% lower at Rs 116.75 on NSE.
