Inox Wind Shares Soar 5% on Winning Wind Power Project

Board of Directors of the company approved to raise funds.

On Thursday, Inox Wind gained 5% in the morning trade after the company announced bagging an order project for a 100-MW wind power project from ABEnergia Renewables Private Limited (ABEnergia), an autonomous power producer.

As part of the project, Inox Wind will supply and install a 3.3 MW wind turbine generator with a 145-meter rotor dia & 120-meter hub height. The project will be implemented on a turnkey basis at Dayapar in Gujarat’s Kutch district and is programmed to be commissioned by 2024.

Infrastructure facilities, counting the 220 KV pooling substation at Dayapar and an extra-high voltage transmission line, have already been custom-made to execute the project on a plug-and-play basis. Inox Wind will be accountable for multi-year operation and maintenance (O&M) services as part of the contract.

The CEO of Inox Wind, Kailash Tarachandani, mentioned that the order re-emphasises the fame of Inox Wind Limited as the foremost wind energy solutions provider and the robust tailwinds the sector is beholding. The fact says that with the push in the industry and the combined 3.3MW offering, IWL should grow manifold.

At 9:24 am, Inox Wind cited Rs 146.80, up Rs 3.85, or 2.69% on the BSE.

The share touched a 52-week high of Rs 160.40 at 8.48% on September 16, 2022, and a 52-week low of Rs 75.40 at 94.69% on July 1, 2022.
