IRB Infra Gains as Toll Collections Jump 37%

IRB Infrastructure Developers hit a high at 1.17 per cent to Rs 216.85 after gross toll collection of the company improved by 37 per cent to Rs 328.24 crore in Q2FY23 as compared to Rs 240.29 crore reported in Q2FY22.

Similarly, the gross toll collection of the company declined 2.31 per cent compared to Rs 335.99 crore recorded in August 2022.

In September, the gross toll collection of IRB Infra’s wholly-owned subsidiaries was Rs 156.64 crore, up 9.31 per cent yearly and down 5.15 per cent monthly.

The amount of gross toll collection of Rs 171.6 crore (up 76.93 per cent YoY) was reported by IRB Infrastructure Trust. It is higher by 0.44 per cent compared with Rs 163.1 crore reported at the end of August. 

This infrastructure company is India’s first integrated multinational infrastructure player in the highway segment. Also, the private highways and toll roads developer in India has an asset of over Rs 60,000 crore in 10 States all over India.

On a consolidated basis, the net profit of IRB Infrastructure Developer zoomed to Rs 363.19 crore in Q1FY 23 compared with Rs 71.91 crore in Q1FY22. Sales rose 18.38 per cent to Rs 1924.57 crore in the June quarter of 2022 over the June quarter of 2021.
