Shares of IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd were trading 2% higher on 8 January after the company announced its toll income numbers for December 2025. 

IRB Infrastructure Developers announced a 12% year-on-year (YoY) rise in toll receipts for December 2025, hitting Rs 754 crore from Rs 675 crore a year before.

The collections included donations from the company’s two infrastructure investment trusts: IRB InvIT Fund (Public) and IRB Infrastructure Trust (Private). In its 24-asset portfolio, the IRB MP Expressway in Maharashtra topped with Rs 170.3 crore, up from Rs 163.4 crore the previous year.

The IRB Ahmedabad Vadodara Super Express Tollway is the second-largest revenue source, providing Rs 84.1 crore in December 2025, up from Rs 70.7 crore in December 2024. The IRB Golconda Expressway (Hyderabad ORR) ranked third with Rs 78.8 crore, up from Rs 71.3 crore the year before.

Commenting on the performance, Amitabh Murarka, Deputy CEO, stated that the group observed a strong and consistent traffic increase during the month, which was supported by excellent GDP growth, resulting in robust toll revenue improvements.

Earlier, in November 2025, the company’s toll income increased by 16% year on year (Y-o-Y) to Rs 716 crore, up from Rs 618 crore in November 2024. Toll collections for Mumbai-Pune Expressway, Ahmedabad-Vadodara Expressway, and Hyderabad ORR totalled Rs 158.6 crore, up from Rs 146.4 crore the previous year.

On Tuesday, IRB got a toll-operate-transfer (TOT) deal from NHAI in Odisha for Rs 3,087 crore upfront. Murarka stated that this result puts the company on a fast track to creating an asset portfolio of Rs 1 lakh crore in the near term, the largest by any private toll road developer in India.

IRB is one of India’s biggest private toll road and highway infrastructure developers, with an asset base of around Rs 94,000 crore across 13 states.

However, at 12:45 pm, the shares of IRB Infra were trading % lower at Rs 42.20 on NSE.
