IRCTC and Reliance Collaborate To Provide Food Via WhatsApp In Trains

Zoop, a food delivery service run by the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), has teamed up with Reliance-owned Haptik to offer online meal delivery on trains over WhatsApp. With this most recent collaboration, travellers may place food orders on WhatsApp through a chatbot without having to download any other apps.

It was interesting how guests would receive meals while travelling on their seats. To successfully place the order, passengers must submit their PNR number. Additionally, this IRCTC service includes real-time tracking.
In accordance with a YouTube video posted by Haptik, IRCTC’s Zoop and Haptik are collaborating to provide a meal delivery service aboard trains that uses WhatsApp.

Additionally, travellers can contact “Ziva,” a WhatsApp chatbot, by dialling +91 7042062070. To order food, they must submit their PNR number. Additionally, the chatbot would confirm the trip information and allow the passengers to choose the station where they want the food served. Passengers can use these services and pay in cash or online.

Passengers can follow their orders in real-time and provide feedback via the chatbot. The meal will be brought to the passengers’ seats after the train arrives at the chosen station, so they won’t have to get out.

More than 100 A1, A, and B category railway stations, including Baroda, Vijayawada, Kanpur, Tundla Junction, and others, presently provide this new service.
