ITC, has introduced a new brand, Farmland for fresh fruits and vegetables.

The company has launched 4 different varieties of potatoes and it will be available in Delhi from this week and by the next quarter it will introduce Apple, under the new Farmland brand.

As per S Sivakumar, ITC Group Head Agri Business and IT, “We are introducing potatoes in Delhi. It would be available in seven metros in the next 12 months.”

Sale of potatoes will be done via neighborhood stores, organised retail and e-commerce platforms.

Further in the phase 1, its products will be sold in metro markets at a premium of 10-15% over local prices.
