J B Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals receives approval from US health regulator for Atenolol tablets, which is used for treating high blood pressure.
In a BSE filing the company stated, “The United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) has approved the company’s supplementary Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) for Atenolol tablets USP 25mg, 50mg and 100 mg.”
Further, the company is considering to commercialize the product in the next quarter and the market for the product which has received approval is approx USD 70 million.
