External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar arrived in the Netherlands on 19th May, beginning a three-nation tour that includes Denmark and Germany.
This is Jaishankar’s first foreign visit since the recent India-Pakistan military confrontation earlier this month.
He was welcomed by Indian Ambassador K. T. Tuhin and Dutch officials, with the visit aimed at strengthening India-Netherlands ties.
Jaishankar will meet leaders in all three countries to discuss bilateral relations and regional and global issues.
He is also expected to brief them on India’s Operation Sindoor, which targeted terror infrastructure in Pakistan and PoK after the Pahalgam terror attack.
The confrontation between India and Pakistan lasted four days, ending on 10th May with a ceasefire understanding.
