Jio Becomes First Telco to Roll Out 5G-Specific Plans

Reliance Jio Infocomm, the telecom element of Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries, has developed the first telco to announce a 5G-specific plan, with a Rs 61 data top-up structure that delivers 6 GB data.

With this, Jio has unlocked its 5G wanted to offer to all clientele through the 85 cities that it has propelled 5G amenities, with 10 new cities in its reporting on Monday. These include – Nellore (Andhra Pradesh), Agra, Meerut, Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh), Nagpur, Ahmednagar (Maharashtra), Tirupati, Kozhikode, Thrissur (Kerala).

Awaiting now, only users on the ‘239 and overhead base packs and partaking in a 5G-enabled device were qualified to obtain the comfy offer.


Mukesh Ambani, headed telecom machinist, has broadcasted its 5G services in more cities of Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra. With this, the telco has also proclaimed to develop the first and the only operative to launch 5G in the widely held cities in India.
