Karnataka Approves Investment Proposals Worth Over Rs 2,000 Crore

The Karnataka government has approved 59 investment proposals worth Rs 2,627.88 crore, promising to create 9,764 jobs.

The proposals were approved at the 136th State Single Window Approval Committee (SLSWCC) meeting on Monday under the auspices of Minister of State for Large and Medium Industries Murugesh R Nirani.

The committee reviewed and approved seven important large and medium-sized industrial projects with an investment of more than Rs 50 crore. The minister’s office said that the projects worth Rs 852.06 crore are expected to create jobs for 3,860 people in the state.

SLSWCC has also approved 48 new projects with investments above Rs 15 crore and below Rs 50 crore. These projects worth Rs 923.09 crore will create jobs for 4,444 people in the state. Four other investment projects worth Rs 852.73 crore were also approved, creating 1,460 jobs.
