KEC International Rise on Bagging Orders Worth Rs 1,349 Crore

After the company announced new orders worth Rs 1,349 crore across various businesses, KEC International jumped by 5.74% to Rs 494.95.


In India, SAARC, the Middle East, and America, Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business have secured orders for T&D projects. The orders include a direct high-voltage current (HVDC) project from a leading private player, KEC’s first project in the segment of HVDC Terminal Station in India. In India, the civil business received orders for building a Data Centre and infra works in the hydrocarbon segment. The cable business secured orders for various cables in India and overseas.

KEC International is a procurement, global infrastructure engineering, and construction company. The presence in the verticals of railways, power transmission and distribution, civil, solar, urban infrastructure, innovative infrastructure, cables and oil & gas pipelines.

On a consolidated basis, the net profit fell 31% to Rs 55 crore, meanwhile 13% up in revenues to Rs 4,064 crore in the second quarter of FY23 over the second quarter of FY22.
