KPI Green Energy Shares Gain 4% on Commissioning of Hybrid Power Project

The shares of KPI Green Energy gained 4% after the company commissioned a hybrid power project in Surat, Gujarat.

The shares of KPI Green Energy gained 4% on 14 September after the company commissioned a hybrid power project in Surat, Gujarat.

The company has successfully commissioned a 7.80-megawatt wind-solar hybrid power project that has the capacity to generate 4.20 megawatts of wind energy and 3.60 megawatts of solar power capacity.

The project has been executed by M/s. Mono Steel India Ltd in Surat under the ‘Captive Power Producer’ division of the company, which is in compliance with the Gujarat Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Policy 2018.

In September, the company received a work order for executing a solar project of 9 megawatt capacity from M/s. Gujarat Polyfilms Pvt. Ltd. under the ‘Captive Power Producer” segment.

The company has also received a commissioning certificate for a 4.10 megawatt wind-solar power project from GEDA (Gujarat Energy Development Agency) for its power project in Bharuch, Gujarat.

The power project comprises of 2.10-megawatt wind and 2-megawatt solar capacity.

At 2:35 pm, the shares of KPI Green Energy were trading at Rs 853.70 or 4.40% above its previous close on NSE.
