KPI Green Energy Shares Gains 3% on Securing 12.10 MW Solar Power Projects

The said transaction is to be done at arm’s length.

Shares of KPI Green Energy gained over 3% on 6 October after the company secured a new order for executing solar power projects.

The company has received a total of 12.10 megawatts (MW) of solar power projects. The company will undertake the 3.10 MW capacity solar project, and the 9 MW solar power project will be undertaken by its wholly owned subsidiary, M/s. Sun Drops Energia Private Limited which will be under the Captive Power Producer (CPP) segment.

The projects have to be executed in the current financial year and are to be carried out in various trenches as per the terms of the order.

In September, the company successfully commissioned a 7.80 MW wind-solar power project for M/s. Mono Steel India Ltd in Surat under the CPP division of the company.

This project comprised 4.20 MW of wind energy that was facilitated by KP I Green and 3.60 MWdc of solar capacity that was facilitated by its wholly-owned subsidiary, KPIG Energia Private Ltd.

In August, the company received a commissioning certificate for a 4.10 MW wind-solar hybrid power project at Bharuch, Gujarat, from GEDA (Gujarat Energy Development Agency).

At 10:45 am, the shares of KPI Green Energy were trading at Rs 909 or 2.54% above its previous close on NSE.
