Shares of Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd surged 3% to hit a dayβs high of Rs 159.90 on 28th November, after the company said it has signed a licence agreement for Lemon Tree Hotel at Surat Airport and a franchise agreement for Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels in Haridwar, Uttarakhand.
The company told the exchanges that the Surat hotel will be managed by its subsidiary, Carnation Hotels Private Limited. Meanwhile, the Haridwar property will operate under a franchise agreement with Lemon Tree Hotels Limited.
Lemon Tree Hotel, Surat Airport will offer 110 rooms, a restaurant, banquet and meeting spaces, a swimming pool, a spa, and other guest facilities. It is located near Surat International Airport, about 1.6 km (5 minutes) away. Additionally, it is about 16 km from Surat Railway Station, which is about 30 minutes away. The hotel is positioned in the cityβs commercial hub, serving business travellers from the textile and diamond sectors, as well as leisure guests.
Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels, Haridwar, will feature 60 rooms, a restaurant, a conference hall, a fitness centre, a spa, a swimming pool, and other amenities. Located near Rajaji National Park in Shyampur, it will cater to spiritual travellers and visitors exploring natural attractions. The hotel is around 49 km from Dehradunβs Jolly Grant Airport. It is also 12 km from Haridwar Railway Station.
CEO Vilas Pawar said the new signings strengthen the groupβs presence in Gujarat and Uttarakhand. These areas attract a wide mix of business, spiritual, and leisure travellers. Lemon Tree currently has 10 operational and 19 upcoming hotels in Gujarat. They also have nine operational and nine upcoming properties in Uttarakhand.
At 10:32 AM, shares of Lemon Tree Hotels were trading 2.82% higher at Rs 158.70 on NSE.
