Licious Raises $150 Million to Invest in Technology

Licious has raised $150 million in a Series F2 funding round. The funding round was led by Amansa Capital, Kotak PE and Axis Growth Avenues AIF. Existing investors also participated in the round, and angel investors like Nithin Kamath and Nikhil Kamath of Zerodha, BoAt’s Aman Gupta and Haresh Chawla, Partner, True North.


The capital raised will be used for investment in the technological intervention that will help category development and enhance the overall customer experience. The company will also invest in strategic acquisition, enlarging and deepening the brand’s reach. “Today, Licious is the highest valued D2C startup in India. This valuation is an outcome of the value that we have created for our stakeholders, and investments done towards creating the category have paid us good dividends and have driven growth for the company and its people,” Vivek Gupta and Abhay Hanjura, co-founders of Licious, said.
