LiveLincoln Pharmaceuticals has received patent for anti-malarial drug by the Indian government. The patent has been received for Arteether injection to treat malaria.
The company after the introduction of its injection in the African market is expecting a rise in the revenue from exports to Africa. Currently, the company’s anti malarial drug exports to Africa is nearly for Rs.50 crore.
Lincoln Pharma in a filing stated, “With the introduction of this injection in African countries, where total anti-malarial market is Rs.586 crore, the company expects to increase revenue from Africa by Rs.35-40 crore.”
