Lord’s Mark Industries gained US FDA registration for over 200 medical and hygiene products, with exports beginning in December.
The company calls itself the first in Asia to register this many products at once. That is its own claim.
The list is wide. It covers neck and back braces, knee and ankle supports, compression stockings, walkers and wheelchairs.
Hygiene items such as adult diapers, disinfectant wipes and bandages are on it too, along with gel packs and medical tourniquets.
In plain terms, the company has registered these products with the US regulator and plans to start shipping them in December 2026.
The factory is ready for that. Lord’s Mark has finished expanding capacity at its Silvassa plant ahead of schedule, so more production capacity is in place before orders arrive.
The company is also eyeing South America, though each country there will ask for its own product registrations and import approvals. The company cites Mordor Intelligence forecasts for context.
That firm expects the US general surgical devices market to grow from $6.69 billion in 2025 to $9.67 billion by 2031.
South America is smaller at $1.37 billion, but is forecast to reach $2.19 billion by the same year.
Lord’s Mark says how much of that it can actually reach will depend on its product mix and local rules.
Founder, managing director and CEO Dr Sachidanand Upadhyay said the registration backs the company’s regulatory compliance and product quality.
He aims to position India as a global healthcare manufacturing hub. The company plans to approach overseas distributors, healthcare suppliers and institutional buyers.
The news follows a busy few weeks. On 12 September, the company said it expects revenue of Rs 1,550 crore in FY27.
On 16 September, it reported finishing Phase I of the Silvassa expansion early. On 12 October, it bought Radiotone to build up its transformer technology business.
Registration is not the same as sales. The company still has to find buyers and distributors in the United States.
