Shares of LTIMindtree Ltd jumped more than 3% on Thursday, 29 May, after collaborating with an Aramco affiliate to announce the launch of NextEra, a Saudi-based information technology (IT) services company.
Aramco Digital, a subsidiary of oil giant Aramco, and LTIMindtree have formed NextEra, a new-generation IT services organisation in Saudi Arabia.
NextEra, formed through the strategic joint venture ‘LTIM Aramco Digital Solutions for Information Technology Company’, aims to promote Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation in line with the country’s Vision 2030 ambitions.
The project is part of Aramco’s Namaat Industrial Investments Program, which encourages domestic innovation and sustainable economic diversification.
NextEra will provide sophisticated digital solutions based on AI, automation, cloud services, and digital engineering, all designed to improve operational efficiency, decision-making, and consumer experiences.
“This launch is a pivotal milestone in localising IT services and building a future-ready digital ecosystem,” said Nabil Al-Nuaim, Chairman of NextEra and CEO of Aramco Digital. “Our partnership with LTIMindtree blends world-class tech expertise with deep regional insight. Through NextEra, we aim to drive innovation, enhance competitiveness, and contribute meaningfully to Saudi Arabia’s digital journey.”
At 12:02 pm, the shares of LTIMindtree were trading 1.93% higher at Rs 5,198 on NSE.
