Mercedes-Benz, the German luxury car maker has announced the appointment of Michael Jopp as the Vice-President of Sales and Marketing in its Indian operations.

The company has said in a statement that the new appointment comes into effect from August 1, 2016 as Boris Fitz, VP, Sales and Network Development, completes his successful tenure in India and will be taking over a larger role at Mercedes-Benz Turkey.

It further said that Jopp is responsible for sales of Mercedes-Benz cars in Berlin.
